From the accounts

What the accounts for 2026-01-31 say about themselves, read by AI from the scanned filing.

Principal activity
The Company operates in Norfolk, its principal activities being Soft Fruit Growing and Food Processing, supplying Individually Quick-Frozen produce to Retailers and other Food Manufacturers.
What it does
soft fruit growing · food processing · individually quick-frozen produce · retailers · food manufacturers (AI keywords)
The year
The Company delivered an operating profit of £2,032,746 in the year driven by strong year on year growth in the Soft Fruit Growing sector of the business, in part due to the exceptional weather conditions of Summer 2025 resulting in higher yields alongside improved cost efficiency. This was despite negligible year on year price increases on some fruit types that our external soft fruit sales and marketing desk were able to secure. The Food Processing sector was behind last year’s performance despite sales volume growth because of an inflationary market on commodity prices driven by a scarcity of material.
Outlook
The Company’s objectives for the year ahead include developing long-term customer relationships, expanding the range of products sold through innovation, and continuing to increase the utilisation of existing processing capacity. Within the fruit farming sector, the Company will continue to consider expansion of the growing area. Where appropriate, the directors will also review opportunities and new markets which may arise from acquisitions and/or joint ventures.
